Seascapes & Swimscapes
These paintings and mixed media works on board. I am inspired by the sea - swimming, walking along the shore, staring at the horizon. I also find other peoples reactions to the sea fascinating - the way it draws the gaze and takes them over, the way everyone on the beach looks like they are contemplating life's big questions. Two years of covid has intensified and strengthened our connection to ‘nature’ and has emphasised the fact that the human race is part of and not separate to it.
