Messing around with blocks - Just cos
I spent a day at Bridge Street Gallery in Berwick this week, messing around with the etching press and various plates - woodblocks, foam packaging, cut card stencils and different papers. I'm at my happiest when I'm not consciously trying to make something specific - then I get to explore/try/experiment without fear of something dreadful being made!!!
At the moment I'm really inspired by my local hills (The Cheviots) and the moon, which often accompanies me on my morning run at this time of year. The work I made today will probably end up as collage - one of my favourite things to do with experimental prints.
